			'content' => 'Saya beli buku Seriously, I’m In Love ini karena berharap menemukan cerita seru hasil karya penulis pria. Sampai saat ini, saya masih menaruh ekspektasi tinggi untuk cerita yang lebih berbeda jika ditulis oleh penulis pria. Tetapi, harapan itu tidak terjawab di buku ini.

Seriously, I’m In Love bercerita tentang gadis bernama Riana Mentari yang berumur 16 tahun. Ia tinggal di Kota Jakarta bersama ayahnya, ibu tiri, dan saudari tiri bernama Rasya. Hubungan Riana dengan keluarga tiri tidak terlalu baik, terutama hubungannya dengan Rasya. Tidak dijelaskan kenapa hubungan Riana dan Rasya buruk. Saya menduga karena hubungan tiri itu. 10 tahun di Jakarta membuat Riana ingin pergi ke Solo. Di awal, ayahnya menolak keinginan Riana. Lama kelamaan, ijin itu pun turun. Selain ingin menenangkan diri, Riana juga ingin berkunjung ke makam ibunya dan tentu saja misi kecilnya mencari anak laki-laki yang ia temui sewaktu masih kanak-kanak bernama Tio.

Di Solo ia berjumpa dengan Anandha Ardhi Pambudi, biasa dipanggil Pampam. Pemuda inilah yang menjemputnya di stasiun . Cerita bergulir manis khas anak SMA dan akan membuat kamu bernostalgia dengan kemeriahan abege.

Saya kira tema keluarga akan terasa kental di novel ini, namun yang terjadi justru sisi romance yang lebih pekat memenuhi hampir seluruh buku. Keluarga tiri yang tidak akur memancing konflik yang menarik seandainya digarap penulis. Seperti ada kegalauan membawa arah cerita, akhirnya penulis mengisi konflik dengan hubungan percintaan dan persahabatan yang dialami tokoh-tokoh usia SMA ini. Bagaimana penulis mengemas premis ‘cinta sebaiknya diungkapkan dengan jujur’ memang menarik perhatian. Dengan membuat banyak tikungan cerita, ending kisah yang sebenarnya mudah ditebak pun menjadi yang ditunggu. Hubungan Riana dan Pampam sudah jelas memberi kode akan berakhir dimana, ketika mereka bertemu pertama kali. Penulis dengan berani membuat tokoh Pampam mengalami banyak kebodohan dan kesalahan dengan menerima kisah cinta yang lain sehingga ending cerita menjadi tidak mudah berakhir.

Selain sisi romance, kita akan menemukan bagian positif dari persahabatan Riana dengan Cantya, Sari, dan Riris. Persahabatan yang digambarkan penulis memang kerap ditemukan di lingkungan SMA. Mendukung ketika salah satu mengejar sesuatu, mengingatkan ketika salah satu ragu, dan menjadi andalan ketika salah satu butuh sandaran.

Yang mengganggu di novel ini terletak pada gaya bercerita penulis yang menggunakan POV pertama dari sisi Riana dan Pampam. Kebanyakan narasi dibuat seperti tulisan curhatan seseorang. Banyak kalimat yang strukturnya tidak nyaman dibaca. Paling parah di novel ini, ditemukannya banyak typo. Banyak sekali jumlah typo-nya sampai saya bingung untuk menandai. Selain typo penulisan kata, kesalahan penggunaan tanda baca pun berserakan. Saya gemas sekali ingin memperbaiki penulisan novel ini karena ceritanya memang sudah menarik. Dan tentu saja ini jadi pekerjaan rumah penyunting penerbit Ratisa Media.

Menilai kovernya, pemilihan warna biru telur asin dan gambar gadis memakai jaket bertudung sudah sangat pas. Satu bagian yang harus diperbaiki, gambar bayangan bunga-bunga sebaiknya dihilangkan. Bagian tadi mengesankan feminim sedangkan penulis novel ini adalah penulis pria. Ah, ini soal selera saja, saya lebih menyukai kover buku yang unisex, yang aman dibawa oleh pembaca pria juga.

Ada juga selipan menarik mengenai perbedaan tari dan Sendratari.

“... kalo tari itu kita hanya main olah tubuh. Nah, meski sama-sama ada pesan yang disampaikan, tapi yang ditonjolkan adalah pengemasannya, bagaimana seni olah tubuh itu tampak menarik dan tak membosankan. Kalo Sendratari itu menggabungkan seni tari dengan seni treatrikal, jadi yang lebih ditonjolkan adalah isi ceritanya dengan kemasan yang tak kalah menarik juga....” [hal. 122]

Seriously, I’m In Love mengajarkan kita untuk selalu jujur mengungkapkan perasaan. Jangan memundurkan kesempatan. Bukan tidak mungkin, dengan mengelak sekali, sekali itu juga kita akan menyakiti yang lain. Percayalah kejujuran sebenarnya selalu membawa pada banyak kebaikan.',
